Membrane-based systems for water reuse: influence of micropollutants on membrane fouling

The project has as main aim to study the feasibibility of applying systems that combine membrane biorreactors (MBR) and inverse osmosis for the treatment of domestic waste water for its reuse. Removal of micropollutants (cosmetic products, drugs, pesticides...) is key.
