Sustainable and integrated management of urban water systems (sewer system, wastewater treatment plant and receiving media). Qualitative modeling, life cycle assessment and water footprint of urban water systems. Modeling and control of wastewater treatment technologies. Membrane integrated systems (membrane bioreactors coupled with RO/NF) for water reuse. Removal of emerging pollutants in wastewater systems.
