Our researchers will be at the IWA Specialist Conference on Sustainable Wastewater Treatment and Resource Recovery in Kathmandu

The IWA Specialist Conference “Global Challenges: Sustainable Wastewater Treatment and Resource Recovery” will be held from 26 to 30th October in Kathmandu (Nepal). The theme, sustainable wastewater and resource recovery, provides for a critical and timely forum for bringing together scholars, leaders, and practitioners to discuss research and practice impacting wastewater sustainability. The conference is supported by two IWA specialist groups: Nutrient Removal and Recovery, and Resource Oriented Sanitation.

LEQUIA researchers will contribute to the conference with two oral presentations on sewage sludge treatment and nitrous oxide emissions measurement:

  • “The Syngas Platform: Transforming sewage sludge into products with added value”, Ramon Ganigué, Sara Ramió, Patricia Sánchez, Lluís Bañeras and Jesús Colprim.
