On February 3rd-4th LEQUIA is host of the first technical meeting of the ManureEcoMine project, on Thursday 6th we participate at the “IV Fòrum del Parc Científic i Tecnològic” and on Friday 7th project SHOWW organizes the technical workshop “New solutions for wastewater treatment and management”.
The main objective of EU project ManureEcoMine is to combine and validate several wastewater treatment technologies for the treatment and reuse of pig and cows manure. The project has a budget of 3,8M€ and started in November 2013. The first Technical Meeting will be held on February 3rd-4th at the Science Park of the University of Girona.
On Thursday 6th LEQUIA participates at the IV Fòrum del Parc Científic i Tecnològic. Dr. Quim Comas will give a presentation on the Smart Air MBR® system, an automatic control system for membrane bioreactors (MBR) that leads to significant energy savings.
Finally, on Friday 7th February SHOWW project organises the workshop “New solutions for wastewater treatment and management”. The aim of the workshop is to disseminate several LIFE solutions for wastewater treatment and management among relevant stakeholders. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is needed.
