The final results of the Ecotech Sudoe project (www.ecotechsudoe.eu) will be presented in the “Symposium on Ecoinnovation in the Sudoe Region”, next 4th and 5th June in Toulouse, France. Funded by Sudoe Interreg IV B and EU FEDER programs, the project focuses on environmental and social life cycle analysis (LCA); ecodesign; and industrial and territorial ecology within the Sudoe European space scale. This includes Spain, Portugal and four South West regions of France.

The Symposium will focus on items such as ecodesign, improving building eco efficiency, water issues, creation of an LCA database, LCA in agriculture and forestry and much more.  Moreover, it will be an opportunity to obtain feedback from stakeholders in the region. On Wednesday 5th June a specific session will be devoted to “water issues in industrial ecology and LCA in the SUDOE region”. LEQUIA researchers and collaborator Dr. Quim Comas, Sadurní Morera and Dr. Miquel Rigola will take part in it.
