Dr. Manel Poch, Professor of UdG and director of LEQUIA, will close the Conference ECO-STP of the International Water Association

The Conference will present the most recent developments to address wastewater treatment challenges.

The Conference ECO-STP “EcoTechnologies for Wastewater Treatment” of the International Water Association (IWA) will be held in Santiago de Compostela from 25th to 27th June 2012, and will serve as platform for exchange of experience and know-how among professionals from academia, industry and public administrations.  In this Conference, wastewater treatment will be faced from a global approach, meaning that issues about new processes and technologies will be considered together with those related to emissions, economy and environmental analysis in an integrated perspective.

Dr. Manel  Poch, professor of UdG and director of LEQUIA, will close the event with a plenary conferene on the outcomes of the NOVEDAR_Consolider project “Conception of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) of the XXI Century. The most recent works under development to face the new challenges to approach the future of wastewater treatment are intended to be presented.
