Organised by LEQUIA research group, this meeting will highlight the latest breakthroughs in microbial electrochemistry research and applications of bio electrochemical systems, covering topics from fundamentals to scale-up processes, electro bioremediation, electromicrobiology, resource recovery, environmental sustainability of METs and among others.  To this effect, we will address the different aspects and scientific disciplines needed for the study of microbial electrochemical technologies, such as electrochemistry, biology, environmental sciences, biotechnology, materials science, design or process engineering. Furthermore, as METs are becoming more mature, we will devote for the first time a session to their commercialisation and environmental sustainability and another one to their associated social aspects.
